Jess Stone Takes The Maxxis Cup Series Title
Last weekend, 2Stage Factory Team rider Jess Stone, took out the Elite Women's series title at the Maxxis Cup finale in Port Aine. In her first year of international women's racing, Jess picked up second place in the first three rounds of the Maxxis Cup and last weekend she finished first and also took out series title. Here's what the 19 year old UK starlet had to say after the race - straight from the horses mouth: "I was so pleased with my performance over the weekend and during the race. I tried not to push too hard as at round 3, I had a big stack so I just wanted to get down safe with a respectable time. Which I achieved. I'm so glad I eventually won a race after coming 2nd three times, and to win the series feels awesome! The team have put so much effort in to ensure that I was fully prepared and I'm happy I have been able to win this for them. I'd like to thank all the 2Stage team - the backing I have had from the races have been out of this world. I would never have got this far without the fantastic bike and all the hard work that is put in behind the scenes and in the pits. Also, a big thank you to Adidas Eyewear, Loeka, five.Ten, Extreme Medics, SRAM and Smartwool for all your support! Lastly, I'd also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Dan Jarvis, who has helped me tons this year. Thanks Dan :)" www.2stagebikes.com
